Dear citizens! On behalf of the vice-mayor of the capital for construction and architecture, Ulanbek Azygaliev, specialists of the Bishkekglavarchitecture municipal enterprise developed a preliminary design for landscaping the territory, on the corner of Toktogula Street and Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard.

The future pedestrian zone, with an area of 730 square meters, is located in front of the "Lenin with Us" mosaic panel, which is of artistic and historical value to the city.

The panel was built in 1978, the author is the artist L.A. Ilyina, has the status of an art monument of local importance on the basis of the Decision of the Executive Committee of the Frunze City Council of People's Deputies of the Kyrgyz SSR of July 9, 1981.

The site, once in a well-maintained, landscaped state, is now in disrepair and has an unsightly, dull appearance.

According to the sketched solutions, the state of the territory will be improved with the replacement of street furniture and pavement of sidewalks, sites and the installation of new lighting. In addition, it is proposed to open the view of the panel, install lighting, remove overgrown vegetation on the site, plant trees and equip flower beds.

The project will allow you to breathe life into this site, we hope that this place will turn into a cozy corner of recreation for citizens and guests of the capital, and in the evening the panel will play with all the colors of the mosaic.

The practice of creating pocket parks (pocket park) is popular in Europe and North America. After all, this is an effective and low-cost way to use empty landscaped land for public spaces.
The appearance of green oases, tiny parks in densely populated parts of the city, in the middle of a busy and noisy street, within walking distance, gives citizens an opportunity to relax.

By the way, one such cozy public space will soon appear at the intersection of Moskovskaya Street and Manas Avenue, built at the expense of Integra Hotel Investment, near the Novotel Hotel, without any claims to the site, which will be their invaluable contribution to the improvement of our city.
