On the eve of the municipal enterprise "Municipal Parks, Parking and Markets" announced a tender for the purchase of "Automation of the system of urban parking and optimization of road traffic in Bishkek. Bishkek" by the method of unlimited participation.


The bidder must provide a technical solution to the terms of reference with a detailed description of the proposed equipment, installation works, schedule of work execution, period and program of training, terms of replacement of defective equipment service and warranty service and post-warranty service, certified by the signature and seal of the participant.


This pilot project must include at least two means of collecting information on the presence of parked vehicles and recognition of state license plates. It is also necessary to have a working system (allowed in a test environment) for collection of funds using mobile applications of banks of the Kyrgyz Republic.


The winner of the tender will be contracted for 60 months (5 years) for the development and implementation of the system.


It should be noted that the first electronic parking lot near Bishkek City Hall was equipped by Russian IT developer Sitronics Group as part of a pilot project to introduce paid parking zones in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.


Now, within the framework of the same project, it is planned to introduce paid parking zones in pilot mode throughout the capital, which will be divided as follows:

- zone 1: limited to: Bokonbaeva St., Ibraimova St., Frunze St., Molodaya Gvardiya Blvd;

- zone 2: bounded by: Akhunbaeva St., Zhibek-Zholu Avenue, T. Aitmatov St., Fuchika St., except for zone 1;

- Zone 3: other streets in Bishkek city, not included in Zones 1, 2.


Payment for parking will be by scanning a QR code from the display of the equipment (parking meter), or in the application itself.
